Naga Chaitanya remarks 8 years of Manam with Dhootha’s Vikram K Kumar.

Manam, a great Telugu film starring four generations of the Akkineni family (Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and Akhil), has been out for eight years. Manam, directed by Vikram K Kumar, was released on May 23, 2008, and became a big hit. On that topic, Naga Chaitanya tweeted a photo with director Vikram to commemorate the 8th anniversary of Manam. The two are collaborating again for the online series Dootha.

Naga Chaitanya tweeted a photo with director Vikram K Kumar from the set of Dhootha and said, 8 years of #Manam being on the floors today with @thisisvikramkumar and sharing the same passion .. probably the best way to celebrate this journey! Thankful #anrliveson.”

Manam holds a particular place in the Akkineni family because it was the last film in which veteran actor Nageswara Rao appeared. It was also chosen to screen in India’s 45th International Film Festival as a tribute to ANR. Shriya Saran, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neetu Chandra, and Raashi Khanna played essential roles in Vikram Kumar’s film. It also had a cameo appearance by actor Amitabh Bachchan as a doctor.

The film’s plot revolves around rebirth and the lovely stages of life. The movie is still considered one of the best Telugu films. The film seamlessly blended humour and emotion, and Telugu audiences received one of the most calming music albums.
