Makers of upcoming film Sardar Udham has released the teaser of the film, starring Vicky Kaushal. The film is based on the life of the revolutionary Sardar Udham Singh. Vicky is playing the titular role. Makers shared the film’s teaser on social media.
Amazon Prime Video India shared the film’s teaser on their Twitter handle, and they captioned it, “his action shook the entire British Empire, his story will move the nation once again! watch #SardarUdhamOnPrime, October 16.”
Film’s teaser shows a unique way of introducing the film’s theme. In the teaser, we see Vicky’s character piecing documents together. Then it shows the making of false passports of different names, One of those passports belongs to Sardar Udham Singh. The teaser ends with the sound of gunshots, echoing the film’s storyline.
The film has a heart-wrenching story of revenge. Sardar Udham will showcase the journey of the brave man who made sure the world never forgets the lives of his beloved friends who were brutally killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919. He shot General O’Dwyer in London to take revenge. He was hanged in July 1940 after being convicted of murder.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar and Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film also stars Banita Sandhu and Amol Parashar in a pivotal roles. The makers decided to release the movie in theatres. But due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, Vicky’s film has also taken the digital route. Sardar Udham will be releasing on October 16.
