The Trailer of the upcoming Telugu film Narappa was released on Wednesday. An emotional saga is starring Venkatesh and Priyamani. The film is the official remake of the Tamil hit Asuran. The film narrates the tale of a farmer in Andhra Pradesh. When his eldest son murders a wealthy landlord in a fit of rage, he has to protect his family at all costs.

Narappa was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on May 14 this year. However, the second wave of the coronavirus upended the release plans. The filmmakers later decided to release the film directly on the streaming platform. The film, directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, is slated to premiere on July 20 on Amazon Prime Video.
