Last seen in Baar Baar Dekho, veteran actress Sarika is coming to a comeback to the silver screen with multi-starrer Uunchai. She will be seen playing the role of Mala Trivedi, the first look poster for is out.
The official handle of Rajshri Productions dropped the first look character poster for Sarika. The caption read, “Presenting Sarika as Mala Trivedi in our next – #Uunchai! On the poster, Sarika is seen in two different avatars, she is seen as a hiker with a bag-pack, while the other is more homely, where she is seen wearing a shawl.
Earlier, the makers introduced Amitabh Bachchan as Amit Shrivastava, Anupam Kher as Om Sharma, Boman Irani as Javed Siddiqui and now Sarika as Mala Trivedi.
Written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films. The film also Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, and Neena Gupta.
The drama based on friendship revolves around four friends – Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa, who decide to climb mount, Everest. Actress Parineeti Chopra will be seen playing the role of a tourist guide.
In supporting roles, the film also features Nafisa Ali, Sheen Dass and Abhishek Singh Pathania. It is scheduled for theatrical release on 11 November 2022.
