Bigg Boss 17 had wrapped yesterday night. In the Grand Finale, Abhishek Kumar finished as the first runner-up, and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui took home the trophy. The winner witnessed an emotional journey lasting over a thousand days inside the Bigg Boss house. Following his exit from the house, Munawar Faruqui shared a photo of himself holding the trophy alongside Salman Khan, the show’s host, on social media.
The Bigg Boss 17 winner thanked host Salman Khan for his guidance and referred to him as “bade bhai” in the photo. According to audience votes, contestants Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra qualified for the top 3, while the first two qualified for the top 2. Arun Mahashettey was the first to be eliminated from the race, followed by Ankita Lokhande in fourth place.
The top two contestants became emotional as Bigg Boss reminded them of their journey before they left the Bigg Boss 17 house. Both expressed gratitude to Bigg Boss for helping them become better individuals. In the final ten minutes, voting lines were opened so that the audience could choose Munawar and Abhishek as the winners.
Munawar Faruqui received a brand-new car, a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs, and the coveted trophy as a reward.
