Salman Khan has been in the news after he got a threat letter following the death of Sidhu Moose Wala. According to the reports, the letter was discovered by Salim Khan’s security team outside the actor’s Mumbai home on Sunday near the Bandra Bandstand promenade, where the actor’s father Salim Khan regularly rests after his daily jog. He and Salman Khan were the recipients of the letter. “Salim Khan Salman Khan bahut jald aapka Moose Wala hoga,” the letter said. The Mumbai Police Department is now investigating the incident.
The letter was apparently signed by two people with the initials G.B and L.B, which are thought to be Lawrence Bishnoi and his Canada-based aide Goldy Brar. On Monday, Salman Khan flew to Hyderabad to begin filming for his upcoming film, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, despite death threats. Early Monday morning, a Mumbai Police squad also visited the Dabangg actor’s apartment, the Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, and increased security around the premises. Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, his brothers, were also caught at the house discussing the issue with cops.
The Mumbai Police Department also provided an update on Monday. In an interview with ANI, it claimed, “Mumbai Police have recorded the statements of actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan after the actor got a threat letter on June 5. So far, four people’s statements have been recorded.” Aside from that, the police have obtained footage from 200 CCTV cameras in the vicinity to help them with their investigation.
