The much-anticipated sequel to the 2015 horror comedy Chandramukhi movie, which stars Kangana Ranaut, formally welcomes the actress with the release of the first look poster for the actress.
The official handle of Lyca Productions dropped the poster. The forthcoming film is a sequel to P Vasu’s critically acclaimed Chandramukhi, which starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika and is also being directed by him.
In Tamil Nadu, Chandramukhi enjoys a cult-like following. Raghava Lawrence will also be in the sequel. Ranaut will play the title character in Chandramukhi 2. She’ll probably be portrayed as the husband of Lawrence, the male lead, who becomes possessed by the ghost of a Bharatanatyam dancer from long ago.
The music director for Chandramukhi 2 is seasoned composer MM Keeravaani, who oversaw the music for sweeping period dramas like the Baahubali trilogy and RRR.
Thotta Tharani will be the art director, and RD Rajasekar will operate the camera.
Actress Kangana Ranaut is now completing Emergency, Tejas, Sita, and other films in addition to Chandramukhi 2.
