Actress Taapsee Pannu had a successful run with Pink, Mulk, and Thappad before having a difficult time at the box office with Haseen Dillruba, Annabelle Sethupathi, Rashmi Rocket, Loop Lapeta, Mishan Impossible, and Shabaash Mithu. Now the diva is defending her most recent release, which had a poor box office performance.
Taapsee Pannu was engaging with a news portal in Mumbai while attending a book launch.
When asked about the dwindling box-office reports of Dobaaraa, actress Taapsee said, “I don’t think the kind of stars and appreciation that I got for Dobaaraa, I’ve gotten for any of films, which released recently. Honestly, I’d only gotten positive feedback. People who’d gone and watched the film, they liked it and enjoyed it”
“And if someone didn’t like it, that is also okay. I will try and do something better or different in my next release,” added Taapsee.
The mystery drama film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Mirage, with Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati, is a formal remake of the 2018 Spanish film. When the movie first came out, viewers gave it poor reviews.
When asked about regretting or being sad about signing the film, Taapsee said, “Who gets sad after doing a film? Trust me, and I do films with my willingness and happiness. No one forces me to sign a movie.”
Taapsee Pannu has an impressive slate of films, including Jana Gana Mana, Blurr, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, and Dunki.
