Shakun Batra’s most awaited film, titled ‘Gehraiyaan,’ will release on Amazon Prime Video on January 25, 2022. Featuring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film looks like an emotional drama about “complex modern relationships ” from its teaser.”
Sharing the teaser on Twitter, the official handle of Dharma production wrote, “Get ready to dive 20m love, 50m emotions, and 60m complexities deep. #GehraiyaanOnPrime, world premiere, Jan 25.”
Gehraiyaan also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles. Jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios in association with Batra’s Jouska Films.
As per a report in the ANI, speaking about the film, Shakun Batra said, “Gehraiyaan for me is not just a movie. It is a journey into the intricacies of human relationships. It is a mirror into modern adult relationships, how we traverse through the maze of feelings and emotions and how each step. Each decision we make affects our lives and the lives of those around.”
Deepika’s upcoming projects are Draupadi and Fighter, mostly to release in 2022. The Gully boy actor will be seen in movies titled PhoneBhoot and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan in the upcoming year.
