The rising star of Indian cinema, Vijay Deverakonda, requires no introduction at this point because he is always in the news. Even though it is well known that Vijay did not have a godfather, he undoubtedly had a significant influence. Yes, this Hyderabadi middle-class boy dreamt of being a famous star thanks to Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood.
Vijay Deverakona admitted in an interview with GQ that Shah Rukh Khan’s declaration that he was “the last superstar” during the interview had a significant impact on his life. “I can’t tell you how much Shah Rukh Khan’s success drove me, and it showed me clearly: If he could do it, why couldn’t I? You only need one successful person as a reference point.”
Vijay Deverakonda also confessed that he opted to pursue acting not only out of passion but also for its glitz and glamour. “I didn’t become an actor only because I enjoy acting. I became an actor because it pays well, and I wanted the money, the comfort, and the respect.”
For those unaware, Vijay Deverakonda began his acting career like every young actor who aspired to stardom by playing supporting roles before making his dazzling debut in Pelli Choopulu. With the success of his hit movie Arjun Reddy, he quickly became a household celebrity, and now nobody can stop him.
In addition to being his first pan-Indian film, Liger also serves as Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut. In his upcoming movie, he portrays an MMA artist with a stammering problem, and Ananya Panday will display his love interest. Along with Mike Tyson in a particular role, the movie also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ali, Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande, Vishu Reddy, and Getup Srinu. Karan Johar is the producer, and Puri Jagannadh is the director of Liger.
