SonyLIV drops the trailer of its upcoming Marathi Web series– ‘Shantit Kranti’. This series is all about friendship, wanderlust and self-discovery. It is a story of 3 best friends who went on a road trip to goa to escape their life problems. A simple road trip turns into a life-changing journey for them, which helps them introspect and explore the new rifts of their lives.
Directed by Sarang Sathaye and Paula McGlynn, the founders of the Marathi content page – Bharatiya Digital Party (BhaDiPa), the series features popular Marathi actors Abhay Mahajan (Shreyas), Lalit Prabhakar (Prasanna) and Alok Rajwade (Dinar) in lead roles. Popular Bollywood actress Shikha Talsania who marks her Marathi debut, is also seen in a prominent role. From dealing with issues like relationship insecurities, the uncertainty of life, unfulfilled dreams, the show brings alive, fresh perspectives and learnings in a light-hearted manner. Shantit Kranti is not just about three close friends but their journey of self-discovery and enlightenment. The trailer is filled with moments of awe, laughter, on-road experiences, catchy dialogues and groovy rap music. The show is sure to entertain viewers.
