On September 13, 2024, a date that marks the climax of the investigation in the movie, The Buckingham Murders will be released in theaters.

The main character, DI Jasmeet Bamra (Kareena Kapoor Khan), appears as she interrogates people over what happened on November 14. The focus of the investigation is the disappearance of Sikh boy Ishpreet Kohli during a time of increasing communal tensions. The stakes for DI Bamra have increased due to the violent outburst after the arrest of a Muslim youth about Ishpreet’s death.
