Fans praise actor Sushmita Sen for her most recent web series, Taali. Her followers took to social media to express their reviews after binge-watching the program in less than a day. The majority of them have been positive so far.
In Taali, Sushmita portrays a transwoman based on the activist Shreegauri Sawant. The program depicts the life and journey of Shreegauri Sawant, including her bold transformation from Ganesh to Gauri and the societal prejudices she faced as a result of that; her fearless journey to motherhood; and the courageous struggle that led to the inclusion and identification of the third gender on all official documents in India.
