The actress is overjoyed that Sushmita Sen’s youngest daughter, Alisah, has turned 15. The former Miss Universe believes that her daughter is the ‘greatest gift’ that God has ever given her, having adopted her in 2000. Sushmita shared some never-before-seen photos of herself and Alisah on Instagram, including baby and grownup pictures, radiating warmth and joy.
The first two pictures appeared from Alisah’s newborn phase, followed by a toddler learning to eat herself. In addition, the carousel featured images of grownup Alisah vacationing with her mother and sister Renee. Sushmita Sen wrote in the caption, “#foreverinlove Happyyyyy 15th Birthday Shona @alisahsen47 Here’s to you… God’s greatest gift & the love of my life!!”
For those who don’t know, Alisah is currently studying at a Swiss boarding school. It’s worth noting that Sushmita, a single mother, is dedicatedly raising her adopted daughters, Alisah and Renee. Her commitment to her family is truly inspiring.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushmita has not been seen on the big screen since her last movie, No Problem, in 2010. However, she has made a successful transition to the OTT industry, appearing in multiple series like Taali and Aarya. Her journey is something we can all be proud of.
