Filmmaker R Balki announced his new directorial venture, a thriller starring Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt and Dulquer Salmaan in lead roles. The yet-to-be-titled film will release in theatres at the beginning of 2022. The film will also star Shreya Dhanwanthary.
Writer-director R Balki, known for films such as “Cheeni Kum”, “Paa”, “Padman”, “Ki & Ka”. He is excited to begin shooting his first thriller. He said a statement, “After months of waiting, for me, it is exciting to start shooting anything. And to make a film in a genre that I haven’t attempted before is even more exciting. I have had the idea for a long time but never quite got around to writing it. While it’s fundamentally a thriller, it banks so much on these four stunning performers. I just can’t wait to get into the editing room.”
Dulquer Salman confirmed the news and shared it with his fans on Twitter. He wrote, “Super excited to be a part of the wonderful #RBalkis next with an all time fav superstar #SunnyDeol sir, the lovely and timeless @PoojaB1972 maam and the super talented #ShreyaDhanwanthary ! Blessed to work with these incredible artists. Cannot wait to start filming !
The Movie is expected to go on floors in the next couple of months and will be released in early 2022.
