SS Rajamouli’s permission to participate in RRR and his pleasure at Naatu Naatu’s Oscar win are acknowledged by Indian film producer and distributor Jayantilal Gada of Pen Pictures.
Jayantilal Gada, the man behind the presentation and distribution of RRR in the north, is the creator of Popular Entertainment Network Private Limited, also known as Pen Studios.
While interacting with the media at the airport, Jayantilal Gada said, “It is a moment of great pride. SS Rajamouli has made the entire nation feel proud, and for my small company, Pen Movies, it is such a great honour and deal. We never thought we’d be able to associate ourselves with such a big film.”
“It is indeed the love and respect from SS Rajamouli that he associated with Pen Movies, a small company, and made us part of such a great film”, added Gada.
Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava sang the Telugu version of MM Keeravani’s original Naatu Naatu for RRR. Chandrabose wrote the song’s lyrics.
The cast of RRR includes Olivia Morris, NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody.
It centres on the friendship and struggle of two fictionalised Indian rebels, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), against the British Raj.
