Shahid Kapoor shared the third song, ‘Baliye Re,’ from the upcoming film Jersey on December 15. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. In the new song, Shahid can be seen romancing with Mrunal.
Shahid shared the new song on his Twitter handle and captioned it, “This one wants to make me move. Super groovy, Presenting the next song of our film #BaliyeRe #Jersey, in theatres 31st December 2021!”
The song gives a glimpse of the cricketer’s early years. The romantic song showcases the beautiful chemistry between Shahid and Mrunal. Composed by the music composer pair, Sachet-Parampara and sung by the duo and Stebin Ben. Shellee penned the lyrics.
Earlier, the makers had released two songs from the film Jersey. The first song was ‘Mehram,’ and then they released ‘Maiyya Mainu.’ Music lovers have appreciated both songs.

Jersey is a heart-touching and emotional story of a cricketer named Arjun (Shahid Kapoor), who fails to achieve success in his career and fame in the field of cricket. However, he returns to cricket later to fulfill his son’s dreams and passion.
Jersey will release in theatres on December 31, 2021.
