Actor Shahid Kapoor has started shooting with ace filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming action film on Friday. The film will mark the maiden collaboration between Shahid and Zafar. Sultan’s director shared the news on social media.
Ali Abbas Zafar shared the news about the collaboration with shahid on his Twitter handle. He posted a candid picture with shahid and wrote, “Let’s get this started @shahidkapoor …..are you ready for a crazy, quirky, mad ride of guns & gangs.”
Shahid also shared the news on Twitter. He shared the same photo with a caption, “Blood… Crime … And lots of action… Here we go … @aliabbaszafar better get your game face on!”
Reportedly, the film is the official adaptation of the 2011 French film “Nuit Blanche,” which was remade in Tamil and Telugu with Kamal Haasan under the titles Thoongaa Vanam and Cheekati Rajyam, respectively. If reports are accurate, Shahid Kapoor will play a cop who is chasing drug lords.
Shahid is presently looking forward to releasing his film ‘Jersey,’ starring Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. It will release theatrically on December 31. The actor will also be seen in an action film like ‘Bull,’ inspired by actual events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.
