Rhea Kapoor confirmed the sequel in an interview with News18, adding that she is now working on Veere Di Wedding 2. Rhea stated that the sequel will be “very different” and not what viewers expect when asked about what they can expect. She also explained why she delayed locking the sequel, and she added, I didn’t want to do it until I knew that it would be better than the first one, and I knew that it was going to be hard because Veere Di Wedding is my everything.”
Finally, Rhea is satisfied with Veere Di Wedding 2’s storyline. She expressed how important the movie is to her and how committed she is to it. She didn’t want to make the sequel if she didn’t experience the same level of joy when creating the first film. Rhea confirmed, “So, yes, Veere Di Wedding 2 is in the works.”
