Ranbir Kapoor starrer upcoming film Shamshera’s teaser is here. Makers of the film unveiled the teaser on Friday morning. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor, and it will release in theatres on July 22.
The official handle of Yash Raj Films announced the release of Shamshera along with the teaser on Twitter. They captioned it, “A legend will rise on 22nd July. Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.”
The minute-long monochromatic teaser shows all three actors, Sanjay Dutt, Vani Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor sitting in the centre of a dim-lit room, which is surrounded by weapons. First, we will see Sanjay Dutt, who says in Hindi, “This story is of the one who said slavery of anyone is not good, neither of others nor the people close to us.” Vani Kapoor continues his story by saying, “This story is of the one who earned a dream about freedom in his father’s legacy.”
After Vani, we get to see a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor, who says, “But nobody gives you freedom. You have to win it. Karam se dakait, dharam se azaad Shamshera.”
Directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Yash Raj Films. Shamshera also stars Ashutosh Rana, Saurabh Shukla, and Ronit Roy. The film is the story of a dacoit tribe fighting for their right and independence from the British.
Shamshera will hit the screen on July 22, 2022.
