Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela, posed outside the hospital on their way home on Friday, making their first public appearance with their newborn. Loud cheers greeted Ram Charan from his supporters as he walked out from the hospital holding his newborn daughter. At the gate, they were showered with rose petals. While the paparazzi were waiting for the pair at the entrance, Upasana took the newborn from Ram, and they all smiled for photos.
Ram was dressed in a white shirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses. Upasana wore a floral maxi dress, and the baby was swaddled in white. Ram thanked his supporters and well-wishers for their blessings in front of the gathered media. He also expressed his gratitude to the doctors.
Ram and Upasana revealed the pregnancy in December. After dating for several years, the couple were married in 2012. At the Oscars this year, Ram claimed that his unborn child has brought the RRR team “so much luck.” The song Naatu Naatu from the movie received an Oscar for Best Original Song.
