In “Chhatriwali,” a Haryana-based slice-of-life movie, Rakul stars as the quality control manager of a condom manufacturer. Satish Kaushik and Sumeet Vyas are also featured in the film.
Rakul portrays this quiet and self-conscious woman who is initially sceptical about her profession but quickly realises the value of safe sex. She then decides to take the initiative to de-stigmatize the discussion surrounding sex education.
While keeping the story engaging and family-friendly, the movie establishes the mood and delivers the message with sensitivity and humour.
