Priyanka Chopra shares the Love Again trailer, and Nick Jonas makes a cameo appearance

Love Again, the eagerly anticipated romantic comedy starring Priyanka Chopra has a mushy tale promised in the teaser. The movie, which also stars Sam Heughan, centres on a bereaved Priyanka who decides to try Love again after suffering a loss. It’s interesting to note that Priyanka’s real-life husband, singer-actor Nick Jonas, makes a cameo appearance in the movie and shares an awkward kiss with her.

The teaser opens with a peek of Priyanka as Mira, who is having a hard time adjusting to life after the death of her boyfriend. She texts Sam, a.k.a. Rob Burns, at the old number he is now using as his new work phone. Rob, a journalist, is captivated by Mira’s honesty and pain in her texts as she discusses her previous wounds. He naturally develops feelings for her. She assists Rob in his search for Mira after giving him the task of writing a report on the singer Celine Dion. Rob, however, finds it challenging to admit that his feelings for Mira began to grow through text.

Sam Heughan and Priyanka also share a passionate kiss in the trailer. The Love Again storyline stated, “What if a random text message led to the Love of your life? In this romantic comedy, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, Mira Ray sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number… not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone. A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of megastar Celine Dion, he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person…and win her heart.”

The director of Love Again is Jim Strouse. On May 12, 2023, it is expected to be released in theatres. The movie was earlier titled Text for You and It’s All Coming Back to Me and is inspired by the 2016 German film SMS fur Dich by Karoline Herfurth. It is supported by Screen Gems, while Sony Pictures handles distribution.
