Priyanka Chopra Jonas has confirmed one more film with Amazon Studios: Head of State, which also stars John Cena and Idris Elba. This comes before the global premiere of the AGBO spy series Citadel.
A script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, with an initial draught by Harrison Query based on Query’s original idea, is directed by filmmaker Ilya Naishuller.
Priyanka Chopra took to her social media and confirmed the movie. She shared, “On to the next, @idriselba @johncena @naishuller @amazonstudios. Let’s gooo!!”
The official handle of Amazon Studios also confirmed the same. It said, “Exciting news! Priyanka Chopra Jonas has joined the Amazon Studios action film #HeadsOfState alongside John Cena and Idris Elba.”
The movie’s narrative and other details are still under wraps, but the creators hope to unveil more soon!
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra will star in Citadel, which Prime Video will start streaming on April 28. She is also getting ready for her Hollywood film, Love Again.
Soon, Priyanka will begin filming on Jee Le Zaraa, marking Farhan’s return to directing after more than ten years. The script for the movie was written by Farhan, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar. Reema, Zoya, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan are the producers. Alia Bhatt and actress Katrina Kaif are also in the cast.
