Pathaan, featuring Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan, is asked by the CBFC to make changes

For thousands of fans eager to see Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen, the term Pathaan represents more than simply a movie; it also represents an emotion. We’re betting that you must have been swooning over his six-pack and chiselled body since the first sneak peek and promotional posters were released. Two songs from the movie have already been released, and both have gained a tonne of popularity among fans. Speaking of the first song, Besharam Rang, is still up for debate and has sparked many controversies. The internet has undoubtedly been shattered by Deepika Padukone’s bikinis, both in good and bad ways. There was a lot of controversy about her saffron bikini. According to recent reports, filmmakers have been asked to make some adjustments to the movie and resubmit a revised version.

As strange as it may sound, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has recently advised the makers of the Pathaan movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone to make some changes. Additionally, the film’s songs have been required to undergo adjustments, and the creators have been told to provide a new version, according to Prasoon Joshi, chairperson of CBFC. According to NDTV reports, Pathaan and other Bollywood movies entered the CBFC examination committee for approval and underwent a complete examination following the board’s rules.

Prasoon Joshi, the CBFC chairman, stated, “Pathaan went through the due and thorough examining process as per the CBFC guidelines. The committee has guided the makers to implement the advised changes in the film, including the songs and submit the revised version before theatrical release.” According to Mr Joshi, “CBFC is always committed to finding the right balance between creative expression and sensibility of the audience and believes that we can always find a solution through meaningful dialogue between all stakeholders. Whilst the process is getting duly followed and implemented, I must reiterate that our culture and faith are glorious, intricate and nuanced. And we must be careful that it is not defined by trivia, which takes the focus away from the real and the true. And like I have said earlier, the trust between creators and audience is most important to protect, and the creators should keep working towards it.”

When Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Besharam Rang, the first song from Pathaan, were released, it completely crashed the internet. Some people found Deepika’s saffron and green bikini offensive, while others adored this upbeat song. In Indore, some activists held protests and burned Deepika and Shah Rukh effigies. A few days after Besharam Rang’s release, Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra spoke to the media and expressed his open objection to the song’s use of a saffron costume. He claimed certain offensive moments in the movie and told them to have Pathaan banned from Madhya Pradesh if they weren’t changed.
