Paresh Rawal, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari And More Praises Saumya Joshi’s Play Welcome Zindagi

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal appreciates the play Welcome Zindagi by Saumya Joshi, as do director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, actor Pavail Gulati, and others.

The play Welcome Zindagi featured celebrities, including director Rajkumar Hirani, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Komal Nahta, Pavail Gulati, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Annu Malik, and more.

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal, who shares a special affinity towards stage plays, said, “It is an outstanding drama, it was earlier done in Gujarati, and now it’s coming in Hindi, and it is my understanding this drama will shake you and rethink everything. It is such an amazing play that you’re so emotionally charged that it is hard to put it into words. It is a delightful play, a must-watch.”

With Abhinav Bankar and Jigna Vyas, Saumya Joshi is the play’s writer, director, and actor. The two-hour drama is a unique theatrical production that has no intermissions.

Praising the play and its cast, filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said, “Saumya Joshi wrote wonderful lines for Faadu, and I must say that every child, father, and mother must watch it. This one is all about relationships. The way Saumya Joshi writes and takes little-little insights, in a 2-hour long play, without any cut and do it without a break and the kind of intensity and emotions are highlighted.”

Actor Pavail Gulati added, “I did a show Faadu, so I have a special place for Saumya Joshi. I am speechless right now because I don’t remember when I laughed and cried so much at the same time. He is such a wonderful writer, and only now I have discovered that he is an even better actor and director.”

The play will have one more show in Mumbai.
