The news that NTR Jr., the Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning star of RRR, will appear alongside Hrithik Roshan in War 2, one of the upcoming instalments in renowned Indian studio Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, is only adding gasoline to the fire.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, who also directed “Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva,” it is a Disney film about a legendary Indian superhero.

Hrithik Roshan, YRF, NTR Jr., Ayan Mukerji, and YRF have not officially announced this.
NTR Jr. is currently filming his 30th movie, which has the working title NTR 30 and is being helmed by Koratala Siva.
Producer Aditya Chopra started the spy franchise. It starred Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the Tiger films Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, and continues with War, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
The most successful Indian film of the year thus far, Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, has made 130 million.
Tiger 3, the third instalment in the spy series, is scheduled to be released in November during the Diwali festival holiday. The movie “Tiger vs Pathaan” will begin production in January 2024 and star Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
