Aakhiri Rishta, a brand-new audio series from Mirchi, is now available only through the Mirchi Plus App. The thirty-episode audio series, narrated by seasoned actor Neena Gupta, addresses the concept of “love knows no age” and questions the conventional wisdom that true love can only be discovered after a certain age.

The 60-year-old characters’ love story, their anxieties, and much more are explored in the series, which holds the listeners’ attention.

Listeners can empathise with the characters as the story develops thanks to Neena Gupta’s captivating narration. The more than 60-minute episodes explain how the leads, Shanti and Vinod, first meet and how a turn of circumstances in their lives draws them together. Listeners can comprehend Shanti and Vinod’s emotional baggage from prior relationships as the story develops and how it illustrates the two people closer together. To find out if Shanti and Vinod can overcome all the obstacles and societal expectations and embrace their love for one another, listeners will be eager to discover how the burgeoning relationship will play out. Still, there’s more! Listeners are given a rich auditory experience throughout the entire series owing to the unique narration style of Neena Gupta and Mirchi’s original background score.

Regarding the show, Indira Rangarajan, National Content Director, ENIL, Mirchi said, “We are excited to present our next-in-line marquee celebrity audio web series Aakhiri Rishta voiced by the inimitable and feisty Neena Gupta. We hope our listeners are captivated by Neena ji’s distinctive narration of this endearing love story of an older couple. We look forward to the listeners’ response and will continue to bring more such marquee shows that entertain our listeners.”

Regarding work, the movie Goodbye, which includes Rashmika Mandanna and Amitabh Bachchan and stars Neena Gupta, was released in theatres yesterday.
