Merry Christmas: Radhika Apte to do a cameo in Katrina Kaif-Vijay Sethupathi starrer

The excitement surrounding the thriller Merry Christmas is excellent since this is Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s first collaborative project. A little insight into her experience was recently given by Radhika Apte, who is set to make a cameo in the film. She disclosed that her excellent relationship with the film’s director, Sriram Raghavan, was the primary reason for accepting the cameo.

Speaking with News18, Radhika Apte revealed some behind-the-scenes information about her appearance in the upcoming movie Merry Christmas. She revealed that she only shot one scene for the film because of her strong bond with director Sriram Raghavan. Radhika said, “I’ll always be a part of Sriram’s films, even if it’s for a scene.”

Having previously worked together on movies, Radhika talked about her Merry Christmas shoot, calling it an entertaining two-night affair. She emphasized their enduring friendship and reaffirmed her promise to be there for Sriram anytime he needed her. For her close friends in the industry, Radhika also stated that she would assist Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane similarly.

During that same conversation, Radhika Apte expressed her admiration for Vijay Sethupathi, the lead actor, without holding back. Having seen Merry Christmas and Vikram Vedha, she remarked that she was excited to see more of his work. Radhika further said, “But I think he’s fantastic. He’s so good. What a personality onscreen! He’s a lovely man.”

Merry Christmas, featuring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, created a stir with striking posters with a vintage feel. The movie was notably shot in Tamil and Hindi at the same time. It was then revealed that the film’s release date had been moved to January 12, 2024, from its original December 2023 release date in theatres.
