Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut thanked the new Chief Minister of the State, Eknath Shinde, following her criticism of Uddav Thackeray and the Shiv Sena for the political unrest in Maharashtra.
Using her social media, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “What an inspiring success story…From driving an auto-rickshaw for a living to becoming of the most important and powerful people in the country…congratulations sir.”
Due to some MLAs’ support for Eknath Shinde, which caused a political crisis in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray resigned as the state’s chief minister, and the BJP was proclaimed the new ruling party, appointing Eknath Shinde as the new CM. Kangana has been a vocal supporter of the centre-ruling Bhartiya Janata Party.
On the professional front, Kangana will be seen in the movie “Tejas,” in which she plays an officer in the Indian Airforce. The film is scheduled to come out later this year.
Additionally, she has the character of Indira Gandhi in the television drama “Emergency.” Kangana would not only appear in the movie but also direct it.
Tiku Weds Sheru, a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the critical parts, is another project she is producing.
