Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who has won national awards, is slowly developing into a world traveller. His latest film, Bandaa, will have its world premiere at NYIFF, and another one of his films, Joram, will screen at the Sydney Film Festival.

Joram, a suspenseful drama directed by Devashish Makhija and set in Jharkhand and Mumbai, is made by Zed Studios and Makhijafilm, run by Anupama Bose and the filmmaker.
The movie tells the tale of a grieving father who must flee across half of the country with his infant daughter to avoid the ghosts of his past and the people and organisations that must kill him.
The producers will soon announce the movie’s release date in India.
In the meantime, a lawyer fights for justice in the Manoj starring Bandaa, a courtroom drama in wherein a girl accuses a godman of assaulting her.
The movie, which will be released on May 23rd, 2023, is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and written by Deepak Kingrani.
