The current actor who’s making her OTT debut is Tamannaah Bhatia. The teaser for her upcoming online series Jee Karda has been released. It center’s on seven childhood friends; two choose to be married following a drunken proposal. However, as soon as the wedding festivities begin, they realize they committed a mistake. One of the leading performers and Tamannaah’s genuine love interest is Aashim Gulati, best known for his work on Taj.
In the teaser at the beginning, we can see seven inseparable childhood friends. Lavanya, played by Tamannaah, accepts a proposal from one of them (Suhail Nayyar) at a party. However, Suhail hesitates when Aashim Gulati questions whether he was in a drunken state when he proposed. They move through with their wedding plans because they have already taken every action, from a vacation to an abortion.
But gradually, they come to terms with the fact that they aren’t in love. In one of the scenes, Aashim tells Tamannaah that while he makes decisions of his own will, she makes decisions out of fear. Tamannaah blames Aashim for not expressing his love to her sooner, even as he does so. On June 15, Prime Video will launch the series.
Tamannaah shared the teaser and stated, “Gen-z peeps, watch and don’t learn.”
Suhail Nayyar and Aashim were presented as the boy next door and a rock star, respectively, in a promotional trailer that Tamannaah had previously posted. Anya Singh, Arunima Sharma, Samvedna Suwalka, Hussain Dalal and Sayaan are also featured in the show.
