Season seven, episode 12 of Koffee With Karan, arrives with a bang and will undoubtedly brighten your day out with your regular dosage of fun. This time, the show’s host Karan Johar, a well-known filmmaker by profession, welcomed none other than Gauri Khan, Bhavana Pandey and Maheep Kapoor to adorn the most popular coffee couch. These three females, responsible for the success of well-known Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, and Chunky Pandey, appeared on the chat program looking stunning and at ease. They shared some fascinating facts about B-Town.
1. Maheep Kapoor claims Sanjay Kapoor struggled financially and was jobless for years:
The actor and producer Sanjay Kapoor’s wife, Maheep Kapoor, revealed on Thursday that Sanjay had been unemployed for many years and struggled to survive in the industry due to a lack of money. When she spoke to Karan, “There were times when Sanjay was sitting at home for years with no work. Money was tight, and my kids have seen that along with the glamour and glitz.” Maheep continued, “The people around me at times did make me feel like we were the unsuccessful wing of the Kapoor family.”
2. Gauri Khan talks about how her son Aryan Khan’s arrest affected them and how their lives have changed.
Host Karan subtly questioned Gauri about her son Aryan’s arrest the previous year during the episode. Karan stated, “It has been such a tough ride for him, and you all have emerged so strongly. I know you as a mother. We are members of the same family, and I am a member of the same family. And, it hasn’t been easy, and Gauri, you have emerged stronger than ever.”
Gauri Khan responded after pausing, “Nothing can be worse than what we have just been through. But where we all stand as a family, I can say that we are in a great space. We feel loved. All our friends, many people we didn’t know, so many messages and so much love. We feel blessed. We are grateful to everyone who helped us.” The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan because he was accused of a drug case. Later, Aryan was cleared of all accusations.
3. Bhavana Pandey about her husband Chunky Panday’s “free pass.”
Bhavana Pandey discussed how her husband Chunky Panday shouldn’t have a “free pass” while she should, as she hasn’t had any, unlike her husband. To spice up the conversation, host Karan admitted to Bhavana that, at one point, he thought Aditya Roy Kapoor was handsome. Undoubtedly, her face was red hot.
To tease her, Karan suggested that Chunky might still be seeing someone else despite being married. Bhavana responded in a rather sassy manner, saying that it is okay as long as she is unaware of it and that bliss is in ignorance.
4. Gauri Khan’s advice to Suhana on dating
When asked by KJo about a piece of dating advice her mother gave Suhana Khan, Gauri Khan responded, “Never date two boys at the same time.” As Bhavana and Maheep grinned broadly upon hearing this, Johar laughed aloud.
