Since Jacqueline Fernandez’s name was linked to the Rs. 200 crore extortion and money laundering case against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, she has been in the news frequently. A recent report stated that the Delhi Police had contacted the actress regarding the incident. She will appear before the Economic Offenses Wing tomorrow (September 19). The police had previously contacted the actress and Nora Fatehi, and hours were spent questioning them.
According to a report in The Times of India, Special Commissioner of Police EOW Ravinder Yadav claimed that Jacqueline continued to associate with con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar despite being aware of his wrongdoing. However, Nora Fatehi cut herself off. On Monday at 11 a.m., the actress has been asked to appear at the Economic Offences Wing’s Delhi office. It should be noted that the Economic Offenses Wing questioned Jacqueline for more than eight hours on Wednesday.
She is being questioned on her involvement in the high-profile money laundering case and the items she allegedly accepted from the con artist.
According to a report, Bigg Boss 14 stars Nikki Tamboli, Chahatt Khanna, Sophia Singh, and Arusha Patil have also surfaced. In return for their visits, they reportedly received items including Gucci, LV bags, Versace watches, and cash. They met Sukesh in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
