Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday Starrer upcoming film Gehraiyaan trailer was out on Thursday. The film is about the complex tale of friendship, love and life, directed by Shakun Batra.
Taking to Twitter, Amazon Prime Video shared the film’s trailer, along with the caption, “it’s time to deep dive into the Gehraiyaan of emotions, relations & life Water wave. #GehraiyaanOnPrime, this feb 11.”
From the trailer, we can see that the movie highlights on millennials’ complex relationships, adulting, letting go, manipulating and controlling one’s life. Deepika Padukone as Alisha and Ananya Panday as Tia are two sisters. Their lives become interlocked when their romantic relationships are messed up due to Zain(Siddhant Chaturvedi), Tia’s fiance. He is ambitious, and aspiring for success gets it through Tia’s wealthy and influential family support.
Zain and Alisha fall for each other and start a relationship cheating on their partners. Both of them feel happy together but also guilty on the other hand. The Trailer shows that Gehraiyaan is a deep sea of human emotions and complex relationships which will be relatable to the new-age audience.
Shakun Batra has co-written the film with Sumit Roy, Ayesha DeVitre, and Yash Sahai. Jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 and Shakun Batra’s Jouska Films. Gehraiyaan also stars Dhariya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles.
Gehraiyaan will have a world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
