A brand-new, action-packed official trailer for Citadel, the forthcoming high spy drama, was released by Prime Video. The ground-breaking international series debuts on April 28 and will air fresh episodes every Friday to May 26. Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville are the stars of Citadel, executive produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and David Weil, the show’s creator. More than 240 nations and territories will be able to watch Citadel.
Citadel collapsed eight years ago. Agents of Manticore, a formidable organisation that subtly manipulates the world, destroyed the autonomous global spy agency, which maintained everyone’s safety and security. Elite agents Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and Mason Kane (Richard Madden) had their memories erased when they nearly escaped following Citadel’s fall.
Since then, they have remained unnoticed while creating new identities and lives. One evening, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), a former colleague from the Citadel, finds Mason and seeks his assistance in stopping Manticore from forming a new global order. The two agents set out on a mission that leads them worldwide to stop Manticore when Mason locates Nadia while navigating a relationship based on secrets, lies, and a dangerous yet everlasting love.
Citadel is executive created by Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, and Scott Nemes for the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. With David Weil is serving as the show’s showrunner and executive producer. Executive producers of Midnight Radio include Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, André Nemec and Josh Appelbaum. Executive producers include Newton Thomas Sigel and Patrick Moran as well.
