Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi will share screen space with Salman Khan in his upcoming film, Godfather. The film will mark Salman’s Telugu Debut. Chiranjeevi welcomed the Dabbang actor with a bouquet and called it an absolute joy to team up with him.
Chiranjeevi confirmed the news by sharing his photo with Salman on Twitter. He captioned the post, “Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to next level. Sharing screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience.”
Godfather is the official Telugu remake of actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam film Lucifer. The film starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier in lead roles. The film marked Prithviraj’s directorial debut, and he played a cameo in his directorial venture. Salman is likely to reprise Prithviraj’s role in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.
Directed by Mohan Raja and jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, Godfather features Satyadev Kancharana, Nayanthara, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles. Cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by S Thaman.
In Antim: The Final Truth, Salman was last seen, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
