Billie Eilish and Matthew Tyler Vorce have parted ways after dating for approximately a year.
Billie Eilish has broken up with her boyfriend, Matthew Tyler Vorce. Vorce confirmed the couple’s divorce on Instagram, where he also addressed the cheating rumours circulating. In his account, Matthew also seemed to criticise Eilish’s followers, who allegedly bombarded him with texts following their divorce.
While the Bad Guy singer has yet to comment on the separation, Matthew writes in his narrative, “Nobody has been unfaithful to anyone. Relationships come to an end. It’s as simple as that. It is harmful to spread rumours and LIE on the internet.” The idea that thousands of people spend time out of their day to write the awful things about someone they will never know postings is the most cowardly thing you can do,” the actor continued, addressing how fans were reacting to their breakup. “You should live your own life.”
After being seen hanging out together last year, Billie and Matthew fueled dating rumours. The couple managed to keep their romance a secret, and Eilish didn’t even make it official on Instagram. In June of last year, Billie’s boyfriend made headlines after fans discovered inflammatory language in his prior social media posts revealing racist sentiments about Asian and LGBTQ+ communities.
Following that, Vorce apologised publicly for the same, adding, “It’s not how I was brought up, and it’s not what I believe in. I shouldn’t have used this terminology, and I won’t do so now. I’m very sorry for the pain I’ve caused.”
