The Bigg Boss OTT 2 grand finale is just two weeks away, and viewers can’t wait to see who will be the deserving winner. While in the 44th episode, Salman Khan, the celebrity host of the show, discussed the competitors’ attitudes and engaged in various entertaining activities with them. The nominees were tense as the elimination moment got closer. Salman Khan scolded Manisha Rani for having too much confidence that she wouldn’t be eliminated before revealing the name of the competitor who had been eliminated.
Manisha Rani and Aashika Bhatia ended up being the bottom two of the last nomination task since they were both up for elimination from the show. Salman Khan scolded Manisha Rani for being overconfident before disclosing who would be kicked out. During the weekend ka vaar episode, an unseen clip of Manisha was shown, in which she is seen expressing her confidence that she won’t get evicted from the house. She went so far as to say that if her name came up, the Bigg Boss team would have to come and take her out since she wouldn’t go on her own. Manisha also said she would fight to remain in the house and even she had not packed her bags yet. Manisha further clarified to Salman what she meant when she said she felt confident about staying in the home because she had performed well.
Salman then warned Manisha that her overconfidence could backfire on her at any moment and that only this time she is fortunate since Aashika Bhatia received fewer votes. Salman then announced the eviction and informed Aashika that her journey on Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 was over because she received less votes. The host warned Manisha again to stay on the ground and not be overconfident since it was not good for her. Manisha broke down in tears and hugged Aashika as they said goodbye. She sobbed nonstop while Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan consoled her. After watching this, Pooja Bhatt informed Jiya Shankar, Avinash Sachdev, and Bebika Dhurve that Manisha’s outburst was caused by Salman’s scolding rather than Aashika’s eviction.
Elvish Yadav and Aashika Bhatia joined Bigg Boss OTT 2 as wild card entries on the 27th episode of the reality show. She got close to Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani and Abhishek Malhan during her stay in the house. However, throughout her stay, Aashika also had a few conflicts with Avinash Sachdev, Pooja Bhatt, Jad Hadid and Jiya Shankar. Aashika had to bid her goodbyes and leave the show after almost 19 days.
Eight contestants are still in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house, and one will be declared the winner in two weeks.
