Barun Sobti speaks about discrimination that TV actors face in the film industry

Barun Sobti is one of the most well-liked actors on television. The dashing guy gained enormous fame after playing Arnav Singh Raizada in the wildly popular love drama Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus. He got a lead role in the mythological series Asur, which won praise from critics, as he rose steadily but gradually in the film industry. Following Asur 2: Rise of the Dark Side, Barun is already highly praised for his work in Netflix’s Kohrra.

Barun Sobti recently expressed his excitement for Kohrra’s release in an interview. He was delighted that the show and his performance had received positive reviews. The actor said, “Good roles coming my way are few far and few; everybody has their own introspection and patience; I have been in the industry for a long time, but I think I have done very little work, so I have to wait for long for getting meatier roles which I had in Asur and Kohrra “.

Barun Sobti addressed the unjust treatment of television actors in the film industry in the same interview. He discussed how TV actors were stereotyped and judged when cast in films or web shows. The actor stated, “Although I have not been receiving end for the same, it does happen with many TV actors, they have to work for even a simple audition for a film or web show, and the producers often say that Oh, this guy is from Tv “.

Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon are two of Barun Sobti’s well-known programs. He also played in the wildly popular web series Asur and his most recent Netflix-exclusive web series, Kohrra.
