An Astroworld attendee has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Travis Scott, alleging that she miscarried during the concert’s crowd surge, which killed ten people. The woman said she was “horribly” hurt after the Astroworld disaster, according to Entertainment Tonight. Shanazia is suing the defendants because of their “failure to plan, create, manage, run, staff, and supervise the event, which was a direct and proximate reason of [her] injuries and death of [they are] unborn child,” according to the lawsuit. She did not tell how far along she was in her pregnancy.

Travis has already been named in numerous other claims by Astroworld attendees, including a USD 2 billion lawsuit brought on behalf of 280 victims by Texas trial attorney Thomas J. Henry. The medical examiner ruled that all ten people killed during the festival died of “compression asphyxia” following the terrible event last year.

Travis Scott expressed his displeasure with the incident on social media, writing, “I’m distraught by what happened last night.” My prayers are with the relatives of those affected by the Astroworld Festival tragedy. Houston Police Department has my full support as they investigate the awful loss of life. Scott’s girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, had posted on social media, expressing her sadness over the dreadful incident.
