The lavish event generated a lot of buzz on several social media platforms. Having returned to Mumbai after the festivities, Amitabh Bachchan, who was present, talked about his experience at the grand pre-wedding affair.
On March 4, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his Tumblr blog about his experience at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish pre-wedding ceremony. He also talked about how much he missed his Sunday ritual of gathering with his admirers outside his house. He said, “The gates of Jalsa did not open on Sunday, but the gates of a wedding did occur… up to the location of the wedding and then back just now.”
He discussed his experiences at the Vantara animal relief facility and Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. He said the Vantara animal relief facility and the wedding celebration combined make the event unique.
He also conveyed his astonishment at the incredible experience and the highly scientific setup that was given to abused animals that were taken to the farm for rehabilitation. He penned, “It has to be said the experience was one never seen before… not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the Vantara animal relief facility. Goodness me, what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific setup for the animals that get maltreated to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out of habitation.”
After thanking the hosts and ending his note, he said, “This is an experience only seeing can be believed.. and no more details for the joy and ecstasy of the experience shall be driven away. But see you all must. And then the glory of the Shlokas, the chanting of the mantras and the truly divine atmosphere and environ created by the hosts… simply incredible…”
