Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, is set to be released in theatres on August 15, 2024. The movie is a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, which received National Award nominations for “Best Actor” and “Best Music Director” in 2021.
The superhit movie’s production company, Mythri Movie Makers, dropped the film’s release date on social media. Fahadh Faasil will reprise his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the Sukumar-directed movie, and Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Molleti Srivalli.
In December 2021, when going back to the movies seemed unlikely, Pushpa: The Rise was released. The film is mainly responsible for drawing viewers back to movie theatres.
In the 1990s, the red sandalwood mafia is Pushpa’s story, which takes place. It depicted Pushpa’s rise to popularity as a smuggler, as portrayed by Allu Arjun. The romantic plot features him and Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli.
