Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Sarfira’s new inspiring song ‘De Taali’ is Out Now!

The song “De Taali” by Akshay Kumar from his forthcoming movie Sarfira has now been released. In the music video, Akshay sports his trademark “Khiladi” look. The song’s singer is Tanishk Bagchi, and Shloke Lal penned the lyrics. Ganesh Acharya choreographed De Taali, which has Akshay Kumar doing some bike stunts and showcasing a range of emotions in short clips from various scenes. Officially released today, July 9, 2024, the song’s description says, “The song of dreamers, of the hustlers and the Sarfiras! Presenting ‘De Taali’, the fourth song from the Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhikka Madan starrer, ‘Sarfira’.”

The initial scene of the song De Taali features an emotional Akshay Kumar seated on a train. Soon after, the camera moves to actress Seema Biswas, who plays Akshay Kumar’s mother. She speaks with him on the phone and encourages him to pursue his dreams. On the other end of the phone, Akshay—who plays Captain Gorur Ramaswamy Iyengar Gopinath—is seen crying.

The music video proceeds by portraying Akshay Kumar preparing to turn his dream project, “Air Deccan,” into a reality. He interacts with people and explains his ideas to engineers and architects. In the movie, there are also small glimpses of him with his wife, Radhikka Madan.

The story of Sarfira depicts the tale of G.R. Gopinath, the man who made air travel within reach of ordinary Indians. In addition to founding Air Deccan, he is currently a politician, author, and retired Indian Army captain.

The movie, which Sudha Kongara helms, is a remake of the 2020 Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which took home five national awards. Pooja Tolani wrote the dialogue, while Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi wrote the screenplay. Aruna Bhatia, Suriya, Jyotika, and Vikram Malhotra are the film’s producers.
