Akshay Kumar, who last appeared in the movie Ram Setu alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha, recently travelled to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Red Sea Film Festival. Along with the actor, other famous people of Bollywood were spotted making their presence known, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan. Akshay Kumar interacted with the media while attending the Film Festival and revealed that he is producing a movie about sex education during the interactions.
Akshay has previously made social movies like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and PadMan. The audience ultimately responded well to both flicks. He is now prepared to explore a different topic and create a movie about sex education. He described it as an “important subject” when he was talking about it. As per News18, Akshay reportedly told the reporters, “I’m making a movie on sex education. It’s a very important subject. In a lot of places, it is not there. We have all kinds of subjects we learn in school, but sex is one education I’d like all the schools worldwide to have because it is important.”
While the title of the movie was kept a secret by Akshay. He mentioned how much he enjoys doing these types of films. Added the actor, “It’s going to take time to release. April or May, I will be releasing that movie. It’s one of the best films I have made. I like doing these kinds of movies and social stuff. These kinds of films are not that big a commercial success but surely give me satisfaction.”
Akki posted a clip from Jeddah earlier today on Instagram. In the video, his diehard admirer was dressing up as Raju from Hera Pheri. The warm welcome overwhelmed him. Akshay posted the video on his account and stated, “Haha…for the most lovable of reasons, my fans’ Hera Pheri simply rocks my life. Thank you, Red Sea International Film Festival and everyone in Jeddah, for a memorable time. Love and prayers to you all.”
While on the work front, Oh My God 2, Selfiee, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru is Akshay’s following films.
