Beyoncé released “Renaissance,” her seventh solo album, on Thursday night as planned. She thanked her fans for their patience and called out those who leaked the record two days early.
“So, the album leaked, and you all waited until the proper release time to enjoy it together.” I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t thank you all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you calling out anyone trying to sneak into the club early,” she continued. “It means the world to me.”
Even though the first song, “Break My Soul,” was released more than a month ago, Beyoncé had not yet released any videos from the new album when this story was published, except a few brief teases.
