South Superstar Venkatesh Daggubati starrer much-awaited Crime thriller Drushyam 2’s trailer is released. The film is the sequel to the Telugu superhit ‘Drushyam’ (2014). Directed by Jeethu Joseph and jointly produced by D. Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor, and Rajkumar Sethupathy of Suresh Productions, Max Movies, and Rajkumar Theatres. Drushyam 2 is an Amazon Original Movie.
Sharing the film’s Trailer on Twitter, Amazon Prime Video India wrote, “Rambabu is back! Can he pull up his sleeves again, or will he succumb to the challenge? Trailer out now. Watch #Drushyam2OnPrime on Nov 25.”
The film’s plot is set six years after the events of its prequel Drushyam. The trailer shows Rambabu (Venkatesh) trying to protect his family once again. His family is threatened by an investigation into the events of that one fateful night six years ago. Will he be able to protect his family?
As per the ANI report, Talking about the sequel, Venkatesh said, “With the sequel, we intend to finally put to rest all theories that our fans have been sharing with us over the years about how and what could have taken place in Rambabu’s life as he strode ahead, having sworn to protect his family. Drushyam 2 will take audiences on an emotional-yet-exhilarating journey, with the twists and turns in the plot that keep the suspense alive, and our viewers yearning for more.”
The film also stars Meena, Tanikella Bharani, Nadhiya, Naresh, Sampath Raj, Kruthika, Jayakumar, and Esther Anil. Drushyam 2 will premiere on November 25 on Amazon Prime Video.
