The epic period drama’s poster was revealed on January 22 in a collaborative Instagram post by Viacom 18 Studios and Bhansali Productions. The post included the movie’s famous stills of Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh.

The life of Rani Padmavati, a queen of the Kingdom of Chittor, inspires one of the most cherished movies, Padmaavat. The epic narrative is brought to life by the period drama when Alauddin Khilji, a cruel and cynical king, wanted to win with the queen and the most powerful kingdom in India, Chittor. Rajput ladies perform Jauhar and Padmavati to fight him and preserve their honor, which makes Alauddin’s quest unsuccessful and angers him. The film is a powerful portrayal of love, sacrifice, and honor in the face of adversity.
Jim Sarbh and Aditi Rao Hydari, along with the stellar performances of Ranveer, Deepika, and Shahid, played important roles in bringing this epic narrative to life in Padmaavat.
