The official first look of Kantara Chapter 1, the prequel to the 2022 action thriller Kantara starring Sapthami Gowda and Rishab Shetty, has finally been released. The first movie was a huge hit when it came out in theatres and got overwhelmingly great reviews from critics. Today, in a historic Karnataka temple named Kundapura, the first glimpse of Kantara Chapter 1 is unveiled.
It is anticipated that the prequel film will return to the Panjurli Daiva’s origins, which most likely occurred between 301 and 400 AD. Kantara Chapter 1 is directed and written by Rishab Shetty, just like the first film.
Rishab Shetty looks fantastic in the first look poster and teaser, sporting an impressive and godlike look. The pictures that shift from a scene in Kantara to the story’s origins evoke a mystery aura that draws viewers in and piques their interest.
Furthermore, the incredible background score turns into a spiritual journey that gives listeners a unique experience and builds suspense for what is about to happen in the plot.
Rishab Shetty is the movie’s lead actor and wrote and directed the film. Vijay Kiragandur is producing it through his production banner, Hombale Films.
The film Kantara, starring Rishab Shetty, was directed, written by him, and released in 2022. The mythological story of the action-thriller movie centres on Panjurli Daiva, a god who, along with his fierce spirit partner Guliga Deiva, guards the village. The story opens with a Kambala champion and a recently arrived forest officer going head-to-head, exposing much more hidden deep within the territory.
Prominent roles in the movie were also played by Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and numerous other actors. Shine Shetty, Vinay Bidappa, and Pragathi Rishab Shetty, Rishab Shetty’s wife, also made cameo appearances.
