Fukrey is one of the most popular and successful comedy franchises in Bollywood. The first part, which had an ensemble cast and was released in 2013 but had a poor start, the it became a sleeper smash. Its sequel, Fukrey Returns, emerged in 2016 and enjoyed similar popularity. Now the creators have come up with the third part, Fukrey 3.
The creators of Fukrey 3 released many quirky and comic character posters on the social media today. In various avatars, they portrayed Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi. Richa’s character, Bholi Punjaban, can be seen clutching a life-sized cardboard cutout of herself as she might be portraying a politician. Varun’s first appearance is undoubtedly the funniest because he has a long nose and is dressed like a peacock.
Except for Ali Fazal, all of the actors from the previous films appear in Fukrey 3. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have produced the movie under the Excel Entertainment banner, with Mrighdeep Singh Lamba directing and Vipul Vig writing the script. On September 28, Fukrey 3 will have its theatrical debut. The first release date was set for December 1.
